L’Image de la Grèce dans l’Opinion Publique Francaise
Abstract
The image of Greece, one of the E.U.’s least economically developed countries, is in the French public opinion one of a scapegoat. Indeed, the strong have always considered the weak as the cause of their own misfortunes. However, Greece’s mediocre image in France’s eyes has to do with specific causes related to the heavy weight of ancient Greece as well as to the ignorance of the Hellenic reality of today and even to some dysfunctions in the French media.
