Abstract

The present work explores the issue of advisory intervention in conflict settlement by the directing person in schools of Secondary Education.
This paper seeks the features and the advisory skills used to intervene in a conflict.
The survey was conducted in May 2010 in Western Attica and attended by all the Headmasters in the region.
The methodological tool was a questionnaire and the results were processed with the program SPSS 17.0.
The results have showed that respect, active listening and summarizing are the features and skills that Headmasters in this region use when they intervene advisory in conflict settlement at school.
