In his theory of Multiple Intelligences (MIs), Howard Gardner supports the multifactorial nature of human intelligence, consisted of a wide range of capabilities, which can be increased by the interaction of psycho-biological and environmental factors, especially family, school as well as other agents of socialization, aiming for the formation of completed human personalities. The present research study claims to demonstrate that the aforesaid aim can be implemented in modern school. The object of the study was the learning outcomes that can be brought about by teaching series on the subject of Modern Greek in the 4th grade of primary school, based on the principles of the MIs theory, incorporating related teaching methods, tools, instruments and activities. The conclusions resulting from this action research prove the effectiveness of the method in activating, optimizing and promoting students’ types of intelligences, for the sake of reaching the learning objectives.
