Given the lack of several empirical data on bibliotherapy as an effective method of intervening in shaping and stabilizing positive attitudes of typical students towards a classmate with disability, this study aims to cover this research gap. Two groups of students, Experimental (N = 61) and Control (N = 63) participated in this research.
The results showed that the experimental group, where the duration of the intervention was greater and implemented extensive and structured activities, students’ attitudes were positive. In contrast, in the control group, where the duration of the intervention was brief, although the students had the opportunity to discuss and express questions and concerns about the theme, the results showed a negative shift in attitudes.
