The focal point of the present research is how students perceive the economic crisis. The sample consists of Primary Education students across the Greek region and has been selected on the basis of income distribution over population. Semi-constructed interviews have been carried out so that issues about the economic crisis and consuming of material goods, as they have been posed by the students, are defined. The research findings are jointly utilized so that suggestions are expressed resulting in the formation of another form of education as an alternative suggestion to the formation of values. They will consequently provide a shift from a consuming society to a humanistic perception of the individual’s fulfillment and happiness through knowledge, social offer and the creation of positive emotions towards the fellow being.
