Τhis teaching scenario utilizes the Edward De Bono’s technique of the six thinking hats, which by using visual constructions, painting, theatre, poetry and singing, orientate the students in resolving problems with discovery learning, originally, experientially and interdisciplinary. The teaching module has been implemented at the interdisciplinary researchwork course (project) in the 1st grade of General Lyceum (upper secondary education) and at the vocational guidance course in the 1st grade of Vocational Lyceum. A similar application is implemented at the classes of lower secondary education (Gymnasium), in combination with the activities of cultural education. Briefly, students are divided into six teams that are given a practical problem. Then, an activity relevant to resolving it follows. In the next phase, the teams construct a dashboard with paintings-drawings-words-poems, related to the colour of their hat, which is presented in the entire class. At the end, the teams are invited to consider the application of this method regarding other problems of their concern.
