In this article are presented the results of a research concerning the time management of Cypriot primary school principals. Time management refers to the interrelation of five independent variables: the various tasks of the principals, their frequency, the degree of accomplishment of those tasks, the use of time management techniques and time management style (from monochronic to polychronic). In the research qualitative methods were used (questionnaires) together with qualitative methods (observation, interviews, collection of artifacts), in order to collect richer and deeper data. The results of the research concluded in three different time management types of principals. Each group has its own time management profile. At the same time, the relationship of time management group and its effectiveness was examined. The results revealed that there is a relationship between the time management profile of a principal and its effectiveness.
