The incorporation of new technologies in the teaching of physics is a very powerful tool for improving the quality of the educational process. However, technology alone does not guarantee effective learning, while its incorrect use can cause several serious problems. So it is absolutely essential, advanced learning environment combines these features of new technologies with a suitable pedagogical design to provide the best result. Technology will be an important tool to support but not the center focus for the learning process.
This paper discusses the design and implementation of an online learning environment for the modernization of teaching physics. The main purpose is to offer a 'medium of instruction', which can effectively contributes to the understanding the sections of physics, namely the cognitive areas of Atomic and Nuclear Physics.
This educational application leverages the multimedia capabilities and therefore the sound, text, images - static and moving - and the graphics are the core around which revolves the specific implementation.
The major advantages that result from the use of this application is the free choice of place, time and pace of study, study guide, explanation of terms, clarification of key concepts with simulations, running experiments and the evaluation of progress.
