Les études néohelléniques en Espagne
Abstract
This article gives a historical overview of the relationships developed between the Iberian Peninsula and Byzantine Greece since the MiddleAges. The author also highlights the Spanish interest in the Greek world during the Ottoman Empire. The current situation of modern Greek studies in Spain follows. The author describes a lively yet fragile field of study. He believes that the result of current efforts will depend on careful choices and coordination. He calls upon the Greek state to play a crucial role therein.
