Psychology of scientific creativity (Case study: the formation of the cultural-historical theoiy of L. Vygotsky)

The article attempts a critical analysis of the main approaches on scientific creativity. Taking as example the life and work of L.Vygotsky it was attempted to analyze the effect of the 'attitude of life* of the researcher in the choice of the field of inquiring and of the direction of the scientific activity. Creativity is seen as a complex phenomenon and for its comprehension a concrete historical investigation of the reciprocal affinity of the social, the scientific and the personal dimensions on the process of knowledge production is essential The developing, creative, scientific activity is presented as a «classic» or «romantic» type of thought, as synthetic and analytic theorizing of its subject matter.
