Individual Characteristics of Students in Relation to their School Performance

In the present study, specific individual characteristics of pupils in primary schools (age 10-12) are investigated, which may be correlated with their school performance. In addition, it is attempted the classification of the pupils into homogeneous groups in order to highlight their common characteristics and to make more understandable how school performance can be related to individual characteristics of pupils. Based on the results of the survey, the socio-economic characteristics of the family, the psychometric characteristics of the students and other variables related to the way and the quality of life of the pupils in the sample are factors that are related to their school performance.
