The aim of the present pilot study is to explore on the use of Ecological Task Analysis in two special education schools for vocational training. Thirteen students with mild intellectual and thirteen students with physical disabilities (Cerebral Palsy) belonging to computer classes and waxwork/handwork classes participated in the study. Disability groups were parallelised as far as sex, intelligence and class are concerned. A teacher’s questionnaire designed for assessing students’ vocational behaviors was used. The construct validity of this questionnaire was confirmed in a sample of 120 students with disabilities. According to the results, teachers did utilize the basic idea of Ecological Task Analysis, but they were not able to maximize the performance of students with Cerebral Palsy. The discussion underscores the educational needs of students with Cerebral Palsy and depicts continuous training needs for teachers.
