Η καλλιέργεια της διαπολιτισμικής ικανότητας: Εκπαιδευτικές παρεμβάσεις στο Νηπιαγωγείο

Abstract

Intercultural competence is the basic ability all members of modern multicultural societies should develop in order to live together harmoniously. However, it is an ability which is not cultivated only by simple contact and coexistence in the same group of people with a different ethno-cultural background. It requires systematic and methodical effort on an educational level which should start from kindergarten. In this article and in the context of undergraduate students’ Practice Teaching, we present some educational interventions implemented in kindergartens in the city of Rethymno which are intended to sensitize students and pupils to diversity.
