Αξιολόγηση Εκπαιδευτικού Σχεδίου Εργασίας Φοιτητών του Προγράμματος «Αφύπνιση στη Γαλλική Γλώσσα και στο Γαλλικό Πολιτισμό»

Abstract

The Greek-French Friendship Association involving students of the Department of Early Childhood Education at the Democritus University of Thrace, choosing French as a foreign language, created the “Awakening the French language and culture” project. In the context of this project, a specific double pedagogical project (PP) is organized every year: the PP1, with the aim to achieve a dynamic approach to the specialized domain language, based on active learning and action (production of educational materials and encouragement through workshops). Additionally, the PP2, has the aim to involve children of age 5-11 in the French language and culture through playful and creative activities. Evaluation of PP1 was performed, with a closed questionnaire based in a previous “open” one. Students showed interest and satisfaction from their participation in the project (9.03) and developed accountability (9.28), collaboration (8.78), linguistic and methodological skills (7.39 and 7.67 correspondingly). Despite all the difficulties pointed out, they have also shown considerable interest in the continuation of the program.
