Greek-Turkish Language Contact in Asia Minor

Abstract

In this paper, the author focus on the more hea vi ly turkicized varieties, viz. the Central Cappadocian dia lects of Aksó and Mistí, the South west Cap pa do cian dia lects of Araván, Ghúrzono and Fer ték, and the Southeast Cap pa docian dia lects of Ulağaç and Semendere.
The aim of the paper has been to illustrate an extreme case of language contact on the basis of more extensive evidence from both secondary and primary sources.
