Réalisations de la littérature chypriote depuis le début de l'indépendance

Abstract

This article presents schematically the contemporary Cypriot literature. The author follows the evolution of literary affairs of the past fifty years, since independence, with an emphasis on the «achievements» of the literature of this period, but only in the genres of poetry and prose. He concludes that the Cypriot contemporary literature is on track nd, in general, tends to follow the evolution of modern Greek literature or even of world literature.
