Η απεραντοσύνη του χρόνου. Έρευνα στον Αριστοτέλη

Επικρατεί από παλιά και ως τις μέρες μας η αντίληψη ότι ο χρόνος απαpτίζεται από ένα απέραντο παρελθόν και ένα απέραντο μέλλον, των οποίων τα άκρα χάνονται σε μια νοητικά ασύλληπτη απεραντοσύνη. Με ποιο νόημα δικαιώνεται φιλοσοφικά η θεώρηση ενός απέραντου χρόνου; Η παρούσα έρευνα πάνω στην αριστοτελική διδασκαλία ζητά να δείξει ότι η χρονική απεραντοσύνη
νομιμοποιείται κατά τον Αριστοτέλη μέσα σε μια αντιφατική διττότητα, η οποία αντιστοιχεί προς την αντιφατικότητα ποu φανερώνεται στα πιο Θεμελιώδη χαρακτηριστικά της έννοιας του χρόνου.
