Abstract

The modern conceptions of education use the cross-thematic integration of knowledge in teaching because many educational applications which are able to create a pleasant, attractive and creative educational environment are available. In this essay a research of didactic intervention carried out on students of both classes of 5th year in primary school is described. This didactic intervention focuses on the cultivation of children’s visual literacy through understanding the use of geometric pattern in artistic synthesis. At the same time, the ratings of the participating students are examined according to the extent to which the subject is considered by them as interesting or not and according to the probability of facing difficulties during the didactic intervention.
